Pivot Post Inserts - 4000 Series

To determine which of the replacement pivot post inserts are needed, verify the model of your gate and see below. Please note, all 4000-Series tailgates come complete, no need to order pivot post inserts for your new gate. 4000-V02 1 piece, for passenger’s side – VGD-02-4000 gates 4000-V07 2 pieces, for driver’s side – VGM-07-4000 & VGM-14-4000 gates 4000-V10 3 pieces, black rubber piece and light grey PVC piece for driver’s side, dark grey piece for passenger’s side – VGD-10-4000 gates 4000-V9704 3 pieces, black rubber piece and light grey PVC piece for driver’s side, dark grey piece for passenger’s side – VG-97-4000 & VG-04-4000 gates 4000-V15 2 pieces, for driver’s side – VG-15-4000 gates Note:  The VGM-99-4000 and VGT-70-4000 gates do not require pivot post inserts.  If you feel your gate is not fitting properly once these inserts are installed, please contact Stromberg Carlson Products.
