Description Matt Granite Hearth – one piece One piece hearths are suitable for use with gas and electric fires or for ornamental use. Matt granite hearths are an ideal replacement for slate as they are very hard wearing, scratch resistant and difficult to damage in normal use. Matt granite hearths need to be sealed with slate oil. Available in sizes ranging from 30 x 15 to 60 x 20 (select size from the drop down list above); they are boxed and lipped (2″ high) and meet Building Regulations minimum for most fireplace applications. Depending on your fireplace you may require a 30″ x 6″ tongue to sit behind the hearth, these are an additional £40. There is also an option for a 60″ x 20″ x ¾” for cutting to size or setting into the floor. Other sizes made to order, please email sizes for a quote.
