Willow Leaf Ficus (currently supplied in these kits) are fantastic as Bonsai trees. They are extremely hardy and are very easy to look after as they can be manipulated to show off their fantastic root structure. Some ficus are planted over rocks to expose and complement roots, known as ‘root over rock bonsai’. These are a great way to get started making and displaying your own Bonsai! You will have a chance to create your own tree by potting, wiring, trimming and shaping. The tree will be around 25cm which is the “Komono size” Bonsai. All you need is contained in the Bonsai Tree kit.
