Rhynchospora colorata (Starrush Whitetop / Stargrass) 9cm Pot

A late-season star performer, this slowly spreading aquatic perennial features attractive green-and-white, star-shaped bracts (modified leaves) that rise above grass-like foliage from July and persist into November. Native to the bogs, savannahs and marshes of coastal Virginia through to Florida, it thrives in moist to boggy conditions. Star grass requires minimal maintenance. In autumn, trim just above the water surface once the foliage has died back, leaving some material in place to help protect emerging shoots over winter. Supplied in a 9cm pot
