Acer palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’ (Japanese Maple) 19cm Pot

Acer palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’ has finely cut, bright green leaves on gently arching branches, forming a soft, rounded shape. In autumn, the foliage turns vibrant red and orange before falling. It works well in borders or as a striking specimen plant and its compact size makes it suitable for large pots. Grow in a sheltered spot with dappled shade (or sun with enough moisture). Plant in well-drained, slightly acidic soil rich in organic matter. Water regularly, especially when young or in dry weather and mulch to retain moisture. Feed lightly in spring. Prune only to remove dead or damaged branches, as it naturally keeps a graceful shape. Container plants need more frequent watering and occasional root care. Supplied in a 19cm pot
